An outstanding performance at the Tasmanian Marblehead State Championship saw Ray Joyce win twenty out of the twenty seven races sailed.

\images\Ray_GrungeThe event hosted by the Risdon Brook Radio Yacht Club over the weekend of 8 & 9 December saw a small fleet of eight boats contend for the state championship title.

Joyce with his Grunge, dominated proceedings rolling out four bullets in the first four races and no doubt left the others deliberating over what could be done to slow him down. Other than missing races five and six, Joyce continued his winning streak at one point stringing twelve races wins in a row and leaving the remainder of the fleet battling it out for second place.

Mike Hickman with his Ajax was next best managing to pick up a single solitary win but with strong placings in the other races, he safely cemented second position at the end of the championship finishing 41 points behind Joyce and twelve points ahead of closest rival, John Hall sailing a Fuzzy Logic, with Lisa Blackwood and Kyle Stewart close behind in fourth and fifth respectively.
